Welcome to Dan Anderson's website. Dan can be heard playing Tuba- symphonic or Jazz and the Double Bass or electric Bass professionally. He has a strong technical background and he knows how to swing. His versatility has made him a top call for broadway shows, Maxwell Street Klezmer Band, Brass Quintets and professional orchestras including CSO and MSO. Dan's pet project is his group Basso Noveau, a jazz band with the mid-century Brazilian jazz feel.In this group he plays Bass and Tuba. He welcomes the challenge to stretch himself into all music idioms.

Dan is also available for lessons for players of all ages and levels as well as master classes. His favorite master class is called "Bass Lines For Tuba."
